We do this through worship, Bible study and serving our community and beyond. It would be a joy to have you join us!
Open to students in grades 6th - 12th.
WE HAVE A HEART FOR STUDENTS
They are the church of today and we want to do all we can to help them reach their full potential while developing a Biblical worldview.
The Jonathan Initiative Mentorship Program
We are looking for Christ-like adults with servant hearts to disciple the students in the youth group. In these troubling times it takes all of us working together to see students come to know Christ and spend their lives following Him.
Please contact Ashley at (843) 662-9451 if the Lord is leading you to serve in this way. Each mentor must go through training and be Ministry Safe trained and background checked to serve.
STUDENT BIBLE STUDIES
SUNDAY MORNING STUDY
This curriculum helps students develop a hunger for the Word of God and in doing so develop a hunger for the Lord. They will participate in Scripture memorization and learn doctrine/theology.
PREVIOUS WEDNESDAY NIGHT STUDY
Students will be taking an in-depth look at Pilgrim's Progress but in a modernized, post-apocalyptic form. Throughout this Bible Study students will cosplay, make journal entries and venture into the world of walking as a pilgrim in our current culture. This is a Bible Study your student doesn't want to miss!
CURRENT WEDNESDAY NIGHT STUDY
The youth are partaking in an in-depth through the Gospel of John. The book of John challenges us to consider who Jesus really is, the One with ultimate authority. Invite a friend to join you for this special series!

Jennifer Danford, the President of The Jade Bridge, will be joining us! As a group we will be helping her prepare for their summer camp.

For students interested in serving please sign up on the bulletin board outside The Refuge. All students who choose to participate will be required to attend a training meeting beforehand (Date TBD).

An Epic Summer 2024!
Throughout the summer students will learn a Scripture verse each week (10 total) and participate in various mission/service projects. The goal is to help them be on mission for Christ throughout their summer break and be immersed in the Word! All of the details can be found in the first document below!
